The Second the Water Wets Your Face, Reflexes of Your Aquatic Ancestors Kick In will be presented at Sonohr Festival.
The SONOHR festival is a three-day celebration of creative documentary and fictional audio stories that are rich in sound. The event also allows for an active exchange between authors and the audience. It offers the unique experience of enjoying thrilling radio dramas, intriguing documentaries, experimental sound art or interactive audio walks together with friends and like-minded people in high-quality sound and in the comfortable setting of a cinema.

The Second the Water Wets Your Face, Reflexes of Your Aquatic Ancestors Kick In is an audio work that invites listeners to envelop themselves in a sensuous environment where borders between bodies blur. Insides become outsides as Van Loon’s guiding words mix with a detailed soundscape, for which she collaborated with composer Daniel Steiner.
