With an introduction by art historian and curator Fleur van Muiswinkel and a short reflection with the publication by Erik de Jong. De Jong is professor Culture, Landscape and Nature at the University of Amsterdam, holding a special chair at the Natura Artis Magistra Foundation.

Zooming in while ‘walking’ around in the landscape of the bone that resides so deep inside us, Van Loon shows us the invisible. But there is more to it. If we realise that the word sacrum is translated from Latin as ‘sacred bone’, and stems from the belief that the soul resides in it, ..."
